Forest bathing - also called Shinrin Yoku - means escaping the stress of everyday life and sharpening your senses in harmony with nature and the green atmosphere. Among other things, it is about calming down, absorbing the positive energy of the forest with all your senses and, among other things, learning many skills to better cope with everyday life through mindfulness exercises. In a small group, you will experience pleasant and effective hours in nature with lots of fun and friends.
Our ancestors already knew that the forest is a place of power that has been around for thousands of years. Do something good for yourself, your body, your mind and your soul and recharge your batteries with Vitamin W. You can leave the forest and the Vitamin W workshop full of energy and with lots of joy, as well as clear thoughts and new ideas for yourself and your environment.
Studies have shown that the forest has a positive effect on people and that it contains healthy ingredients. There is now even a separate specialist and research discipline in Japan called "forest medicine". In Japan, the forestry authorities have been very successful in promoting stays in the forest, which can contribute to a healthier life. The idea of "Shinrin Yoku", or "forest bathing", has also become quite popular in this country, mainly due to media interest.
Strengthening the immune system
In addition to oxygen, the trees and forest plants give off essential oils and fragrances - plant substances that strengthen the human immune system and help reduce stress. The essential oil of pine trees, for example, has a beneficial effect on damaged respiratory tracts. Forest air is also particularly low in dust: allergy sufferers can therefore generally breathe easier in the forest.
